Why Is Video Marketing So Effective For Business Growth

We all know that video marketing is the way to go.

For most people; doing video marketing means that you have to buy a lot of equipment, put yourself in an awkward situation in front of a camera, and spend a lot of time on it.

So is it really worth all the work?

How effective is video marketing?

Here’s the transcript for the above video.

In this video, I reveal the most important points business owners need to know about video marketing and its effectiveness.

First of all:

What are the benefits of video marketing for business owners?

Here are my top four benefits for video marketing:

  1. The first one it’s going to help build your brand
  2. The second one is going to build trust with your audience
  3. The third one will engage your customers out there,
  4. The fourth one as it serves as an amazing lead generator for people looking for your products and services.

Beyond just statistics and research…

I’m going to show you the real-world proof that video marketing is highly effective.

But.. let’s start with the hard facts first!

As of right now:

Videos represent 70% of the demand for internet content by users out there, that is staggering… 70%

And it’s not slowing down.

They’re anticipating that by 2019, which is next year as of this moment of writing, that 80% of all the internet user traffic is going to be videos.

That’s impressive, but…

All these numbers don’t say anything about the marketing value itself.

So here is why video marketing is great for marketing:

More than half of all marketers are saying that video marketing is producing a much better return on investment than any other forms of media.

Social Media videos are producing 1200% more shares than pictures and text combined. That’s 12 times more traffic.

Let’s say a business owner, you have the choice to post a picture or an article or a small video. But, the video by itself is going to produce 12 times more reach and engagement.

Which one you’re gonna choose?

Yeah, the Video! No doubt.

Here’s something else amazing about video marketing.

A video, a single video, on a landing page on your website will increase conversions by up to 80 percent. I don’t know about you, but an 80 percent increase in conversions is enough to get my attention!

Not only that…

A video on a landing page will increase the amount of time your visitors spend on your web page.

So, everything being equal, your landing page with a video vs your competition’s landing page without a video, visitors are going to spend 2 1/2 times more time learning about your products and services.

Plus, it’s a ranking signal that Google LOVES. So having a video on a landing page is absolutely amazing for SEO.

I hope this video has convinced you that video marketing is probably something you want to take a closer look at for your business and to start doing videos now (before your competition does).

But before I go, remember these three things:

  1. The demand for video is growing exponentially. 80 percent of all traffic in 2019 will be video content
  2. Videos in social media, on average, produce 1,200 percent more engagement than a regular post or an article and

  3. A video on your landing page will increase the amount of time that people stay on the website which is great for SEO.

I hope that this is enough for you to get how effective video marketing is for your business and the time to get started is now.
